Dear Rally Friends,
As Organization Committee we look back on a very successful 68th edition of the Tulpenrallye. In addition to the sometimes surprisingly beautiful routes, the lovely weather contributed much to this. What’s more, there was an exciting competition in all classes and a very good atmosphere this year. We congratulate all participants with their enthusiastic participation and their performance. We congratulate once again the team of Hans van der Kooij and Bas de Rijk as winner of the “Coupe Rallye des Tulipes” in the Expert class of the Tulpenrallye 2022. They battled until the last corner of the rally, which was rewarded.
This year, a minimal number of crews left the rally due to technical issues. Of course, there have been some breakdowns, but most were helped back on the road by the service teams of RallySupport, Bas Autoservice and Classic Job. One crew didn’t make it to the start of the Tulpenrallye. We hope, despite this terrible setback, to see them back next year as participant!
This week the Organizing Committee has started the preparations for the 69th edition of the Tulpenrallye in 2023. We will take the points of improvement from the last edition into account for next year. Now that the route chefs have started with the new route, it will be quiet for the Organizing Committee and all volunteers involved. After the summer we will return with the first newsletter for the Tulpenrallye 2023.
We thank partners, sponsors, volunteers and participants for their participation and contributions to the wonderful last edition of the Tulpenrallye. We wish everyone a beautiful and enjoyable summer season.
With kind regards,
Organization Committee 68th Tulpenrallye

DON receives € 45,000
The 68th Tulpenrallye was again linked to a good cause. This year the rally was driven for DON, Diabetes Research Netherlands. During the closing dinner at Chateau St. Gerlach a cheque of an impressive amount of € 45,000 was handed over to Floor Dijkgraaf, director of DON. A fantastic result that sponsors, participants and volunteers can be very proud of. A special thanks to Gijs van Lennep and State of Art. Gijs van Lennep drove along with Joost de Jong for the good cause. This year for the fourth time in the Porsche provided by State of Art.

Maps, results and photo book
A beautiful and competitive edition of the Tulpenrallye, in which every team battled for the best result, asks for a nice summary. At this moment we are working on a magazine containing the explanation cards per class, the results and a selection of the most beautiful photos. This magazine will be sent to all participating teams sometime in the next few months.

Photographs and videos 2022
Our in-house photographers have been taking lots of photos every day. On the website you will find a large number of beautiful photos per day. There is also a special photo series of almost all participants. By clicking on the photo, the screen is enlarged and you can easily navigate backwards and forwards. The photos of 2022 can be found via this link.
Besides photos, there is also a lot of video material. A video drone was used many times. Participants, family at home and interested parties let us know that the daily videos were much appreciated. The playlist of the videos of 2022 can be found via this link.
