After two wonderful days, the Tulpenrallye leaves Aix-les-Bains and slowly makes its way north.
The crews drive largely at higher altitudes, with some sections reaching up to 1,000 meters above sea level. The caravan also passes the Circuit de Bresse, where another consistency test is on the schedule. During this stage, we also encounter the first notable vineyards of this edition. No surprise, as Beaune is the wine capital of Burgundy. The weather isn’t on the drivers’ side, but it certainly results in stunning visuals.
Meanwhile, the Pre-2000 participants drove the ‘Autour de Beaune’, followed by an opening dinner. This beautiful practice route gives them the chance to sharpen their skills and get to know each other a bit better. Afterwards, drinks and dinner mark the festive opening of the Pre-2000 category. A day later, the crews will drive their first official kilometers, making the Tulpenrallye 2026 complete.
